Self-Disclosure & Social Intelligence: Relationship among Adolescents

Adolescence is the most crucial period of life and it is the period of preparation for the future. Social intelligence and self disclosure of adolescents are the important personality characteristics. Keeping in view the importance of above said characteristics the study has been undertaken to establish the relationship between these two variables. This helps a teacher, parents and adolescents to play a vital role in the life of the adolescents and make them socially intelligent. A teacher should educate adolescents in a manner that they achieve more and more awareness and understanding of his self in the midst of his environment. A teacher should build up their life in a way that they may successfully bring about the welfare of the society because self disclosure is an important personality characteristic which is helpful in making an individual a socially intelligent person.
