Sealer Penetration By Using Different Irrigation Techniques

The main objective of root canal treatment is to eliminate microorganisms from it and to prevent re-contamination. However, because of the complex anatomy of the root canal system it is impossible to complete its disinfection using instrumentation alone. Therefore, instrumentation combined with adequate irrigation gives better results in the removal of microorganisms. Currently different irrigation delivery devices and techniques are being used to improve the disinfection of the root canal system. This book aims to study and compare the effect of endovac system, passive ultrasonic irrigation and the combination of endovac and passive ultrasonic irrigation on sealer penetration into dentinal tubules.
