Science and mathematics education for sustainable development

Japan, South Korea, Singapore and India are the countries that have strong and dynamic economy in the 21st century. One of the most important factors which contributes to these countries to come to the existing position is due to the curriculum that they have designed in mathematics and science subjects for their young generations. The authors have tried to go through the curriculum 0f these countries starting from kindergarten to high school. The book shows how they have laid foundation in mathematics and science in the ladder of their education system. We encourage scholars to go through the book and check what their country education looks like by taking the indicators that we used to compare. After reading the book, they will have an opportunity to learn from these countries and forward some valuable intellectual inputs to their countries. These days it has become common to call South Korea by the name of "Dynamic Korea". This is the result of the science and mathematics curriculum they have designed for their competency.
