This research seeks to uncover the extent to which the curriculum implemented in São Paulo's municipal schools has or has not guaranteed students' right to education based on the concept of school justice. The study is based on a historical review of the curriculum reforms in Brazil and, more specifically, in the municipality of São Paulo, aimed at the initial years of primary education, which led to the creation of the curriculum guidance document for the network.
