Schizophrenia

Schizophrenia is a multifactorial, polygenic disease which till now has not been fully understood for the cumulative effort of cure. Even its diagnosis part is in its primary stage. Being the topic of my research I have exhaustively studied all the aspects of the diseases so far its understanding is concerned. This book is an endeavor to culminate almost all the factors involved in the retrospective as well as the prospective study literature available in the field, an effort for to understand schizophrenia as subject keeping in view all the parameters of study for a particular disease as multifactorial diseases. This book is an effort to put together the aspects from historical background to the latest molecular based genetic study of the disease. The elaboration of other neuropsychiatric diseases correlated symptomatically with the schizophrenia has been given in first chapter for the proper identification of the diseases and the differences to be elucidated.
