Edited by Admiral Thisara Samarasinghe and Captain Peshala Medagama, this book represents a compilation of research works done by the Simulator Research Team at CINEC Campus, Malabe, Sri Lanka for the project "Simulator Based Maritime Education and Maritime Technological Research for Competent Human Resources under the Accelerating Higher Education Expansion and Development (AHEAD) Project" funded by World Bank Group and managed by the University Grants Commission of the Ministry of Education, Sri Lanka. The authors of the research papers from the CINEC Simulator Research team consisting of Capt. Peshala Medagama, Capt. Prasanna Sedrick, Capt. Harindra Perera, Mr. Samadhi Medawela Disanayake, Mr. Nuwan Dantanarayana, Mr. Charith Karunasena, Mr. Sudaraka Devinda and Mr. Pradeep John contribute their long standing experience as seafarersto the field of academic research.
