Sampling techniques and sample preparation

ANALYSIS is a TOOL at the service of researchers, producers, consumers and legislators. This tool is used to monitor the entire life cycle of a product, from design to disposal, and is also used to study the biogeochemical cycles of endogenous and exogenous species, elements or substances, i.e. their behavior in natural environments and living organisms. ANALYSIS is therefore the frame of reference used to objectively determine the QUALITY of a material or environment, in the broadest sense of the term.Analysis is a succession of stages: sampling (programming and taking) + storage (preservation of samples) + pre-treatment of samples (purification, extraction, concentration, etc.) + separation of species and measurements (detection, identification, quantification) + structural studies + interpretation of results (statistical processing of data, validation of techniques, etc.).
