Salmas, Azarbaijan Paradaise

F. Mesri is an English teacher working at Payam-e- Noor University, Po Box 19395-3697, Tehran, I.R of IRAN. Salmas , Azerbaijan Paradise is my sixth book. My previous books were on the Teaching of English and this is my first book which isn¿t designed for educational purpose. All the troubles that I've endured in writing this book was the only of my task to the land of my ancestors. Salmas is a county in West Azerbaijan Province in Iran. Salmas earthquake occurred on May 6, 1930.Salmas rural women are very active they worked in agriculture and reared livestock .Salmas urban women engage in home based informal sector activities such as carpet weaving, food preparation and dress making. Some women also work at home and outside the home .I have tried to introduce agriculture, geography, rearing livestock, birds, foods, dairy product, nomadic tribes, medical herbs, antiquates and souvenirs of Salmas city.Salmas city is full of handicrafts;I was trying to describe the small part of devoted women activity. Unfortunately, due to lack of facilities, is not feasible for me to see all Salmas phenomena. I hope comprehensive books about Salmas antiquities will be published in the future.
