Russia, the Russian Abroad and Germany

The book is devoted to the study of the Russian-German relations and cultural ties with a deep and rich history, which attracted researchers of different specialties and directions. It gained particular relevance in the 20th century, when Russia and Germany were experiencing dramatic times of revolutions, wars, mass migrations and cultural destructions. The work is based on the scientific analysis of German and Russian publications devoted to Russia and the Russian Abroad, publications of historical, philosophical, journalistic, artistic, and cultural character. Their role in the formation and development of the dialogue between the cultures of the two major European civilizations - Russia and Germany - is analyzed.
