Early Childhood Caries is a globally existing oral health condition newlinepossessing a strong risk of primary teeth getting lost at an earlier age. Primary newlineteeth act as a natural space maintainer and guide the eruption of permanent teeth newlineto their optimal position in the dental arch. The retention and preservation of the newlineprimary tooth in the dental arch in its normal function and free of pathology is of newlineutmost importance. Root canal preparation in primary teeth is a challenging and newlinetime-consuming step during pulpectomy. Root canal treatment in primary teeth is newlinean intricate process due to the untraversable morphology of the root canals. The newlineprimary objective of root canal preparation is to completely debride the infected newlinecontent and provide a sterile space for obturation. newlineThe standardised method of cleaning and shaping of the canals in primary newlineteeth as described in the literature is using hand files. Hand instrumentation, newlinedespite being the most acceptable and widely used method for canal debridement newlineand shaping, it is time consuming and can result in iatrogenic errors. Nickel newlinetitanium (Ni Ti) rotary instrumentation maintains the original canal space during newlineroot canal preparation and widely used in permanent teeth.Various studies have been conducted using different adult rotary files for newlinecanal preparation in primary teeth. However, there are no comparative studies to newlineevaluate the quality of obturation, instrumentation time of exclusive rotary files newlinedesigned for primary teeth. Hence, the aim of the research was to compare and newlineevaluate the clinical outcomes of hand files, reciprocating files and exclusive newlinepaediatric rotary file used for cleaning and debridement of primary root canals. newline
