The objectives of this study are to acquire fundamental knowledge on the dynamic aspect of growth, development and architecture of the root system of date palm seedlings at the juvenile stage from 0 to 6 months. In order to characterize the architecture of the root system, two experiments were carried out in parallel, one in rhizotron called dynamic and the other in nursery bags called destructive. Measurements of root lengths and diameters at different ages were then carried out. These experiments allow to observe, describe and analyze the architecture of the root system during the juvenile stage.
