Role of trust in territorial attractiveness to FDI

In order to diversify its activities to revitalize its economy, Morocco has focused on the industrialization of the country and launched the "National Pact for Industrial Emergence" which aims to install Integrated Industrial Platforms (IIP) which are poles of competitiveness in the Moroccan way, with the aim of forming business ecosystems capable of attracting FDI through various incentives, and where the interaction between actors requires a relational dynamic based on trust. In this paper, we study this relational dynamic that highlights the role of trust in the attractiveness of the territory and in particular the emergence of Tangier as an automotive cluster.
