Risk management of an innovation project

Innovation projects, and more particularly the design of innovative products, can be seen as a complex process that cannot be mastered in its entirety. It therefore seems essential to take into account the risks linked to these uncertainties (technological, financial, commercial, environmental, legal, etc.). The offer of financing on the Moroccan financial market is insufficient and some SMEs consider external financing as an obstacle to their development either because they cannot access it or because the conditions for obtaining it are considered unreasonable.Risk management is therefore one of the means and tools for managing these innovation projects. It is therefore in the interest of every project leader to reduce or control the risk of his activity in order to obtain the best possible financing conditions. The risk to be remunerated therefore becomes the total risk of the innovation project in the SME minus the hedging or mitigation elements.
