Non-judicious application of mineral fertilizers used in rice base system is the prime cause of decline in soil fertility. This study was aime at reducing the application of mineral fertilizers through the integration of groundnut in rice cropping system for sustainable productivity of rain fed upland rice. The experiment was carried out in 2015 during two successive cropping seasons (March-July and August -December) in a split-plot design with four replications involving rice (NERICA 8) and groundnut (JL24) varieties.
