A field experiment was conducted at R.B.S. College, Research farm Bichpuri, Agra during Rabi season of 2006- 2007 to study the "Response of wheat cultivars to potassium application". The doses tried for potassium were 0, 30, 60, 90 and 120 kg K20 ha-1. The main findings of the study are summarised below. Yield studies Application of potassium increased the grain and straw yield of wheat significantly over control. The effect was limited up to 90 kg K20 ha-1, beyond which the response was non-significant. On the basis of per cent yield response due to K, the wheat cultivars may be arranged as HD 2329 > Raj 3765. The interaction was statistically non-significant.
