Response of Soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merill) to Vermitechnologies

Soybean is miracle golden bean of 21st century which possesses potential to revolutionized Indian economy by correcting the health of human being and soil. In recent past with the fast deplction of fossil fuel resulted in exorbitant cost of chemical fertilizers. Average farmers can not afford to purchase and to make provision for such costly chemical fertilizers. For better utilization of resources and to produce crops with less expenditure, ¿Integrated nutrient management¿ is the best approach. In this approach, all the possible sources of nutrient applied based on economic consideration. By estimating appropriate amount of nutrient added to the soil by organic manures, like vermicompost, chemical fertilizer application can be reduced.
