* Grain and straw yield of rabi maize were significantly influenced due to varying sowing dates. Crop sown on 1st November and 15th October were found equally good with respect to grain and straw yield of rabi maize. But which were found significantly superior over 15th November and 1st December sowing.* Quality parameters in terms of protein content in grain did not show any significant differences due to varying sowing dates. However, numerically the maximum protein content in grain was recorded by 1st November Sowing.* Application of 200-100-00 kg NPK /ha (F3) recorded significantly the highest grain (5180 kg/ha) and straw yield (5355 kg/ha). While, Significantly the lowest grain (4249 kg/ha) and straw yield (4700 kg/ha) were produced under treatment F1 (150-75-00 kg NPK /ha).* Significantly the highest protein yield (544 kg/ha) was recorded with application of 200-100-00 kg NPK /ha (F3). Significantly the lowest protein yield (422 kg/ha) was recorded by treatment F1 (150-75-00 kg NPK /ha).
