Response of growth promoting substance on prebearing pomegranate plant

Pomegranate is one of the important arid region fruit of India and it is a native of Iran and commercially grown in Maharashtra, karnataka, Rajashthan and Himachal Pradesh. Present pomegranate growing on 125000 to 150000 ha area and among all Maharashtra is leading state in acreage and production. Pomegranate possess important quality of antioxidants and it's uses in processing industry for colour juices. In the current scenario though it's area is increasing day by day but pest and diseases incidence and infections especially on young infant plants so proper care is needed from the start so some growth promoting substance are tried in intial pre-bearing pomegrantes orchards for obtaining healthy plants for successful and high yielding plants/ orchard.
