Respiratory and digestive tract diseases with sleep apnea

This manual is mainly aimed at primary health care and, in the first chapter, provides an overview of basic immunology with details on the immune response and its main components. The second chapter deals with eosinophilic esophagitis as a chronic inflammatory disease of the esophagus, characterized by clinical symptoms of esophageal dysfunction. Chapter 3 deals with allergic rhinitis as the most frequent respiratory disease of chronic rhinitis and a manifestation of type 1 hypersensitivity, to continue with the central theme of the book which refers to allergic rhinitis and sleep apnea, followed by allergic rhinitis and its impact on asthma, which is followed by two chapters; one on asthma and viral infection, bacterial and intestinal parasitism. And, another one where asthma in the life-threatening child is explained in detail and concludes with the suggestive topic, when food allergy is not the first diagnostic option.
