Controlling reproduction is, in fact, a way for the breeder to find the best balance between productivity, adaptation to the market and family life. Furthermore, the increased knowledge of mammalian reproductive mechanisms has had and will continue to have an impact on the development of new methods to better compensate for the deficiencies of human reproduction. The treatments of synchronization of heat in mammals allow to rationalize the work at the time of the setting to reproduction. After a hormonal or zootechnical treatment, the animals are inseminated on observed heat or, better, blind heat. It is also an essential basic tool for the development of new embryo biotechnologies or genetic conservation. Most of the measurements have been made in a single breeding season. What about the long-term effects of the systematic use of these treatments?
