Remote Sensing and Hydrogeochemistry: A Study from Tirupati Area, A.P

Tirupati is a world famous holy pilgrim place of Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy and is located at the foothills of Seshachalam hill range in Chittoor District of Andhra Pradesh, South India. This book comprises in two parts. The first part covering about the remote sensing studies and the second part deals with hydrogeochemical studies of water quality of the study area. The remote sensing studies include an integrated approach based on advanced applications of remote sensing and geographical information systems (GIS). The second part deals with the assessment of water quality in groundwater potential zones to assess the variability of groundwater parameters and its suitability for domestic and irrigation purposes and to understand the processes controlling the chemistry of groundwater including groundwater modelling and statistical techniques.
