Religious-Heritage Tourism in Chhattisgarh

The tourism industry has been generating an impressive volume of employment and is also one of the major foreign exchange earners. The potential of domestic tourism has grown substantially during last few years due to increase in income levels & emergence of dynamic urban middle class with increase in spending habits. In this book existing circuits of religious heritage tourism in the state of Chhattisgarh, India have been studied. Book also elaborate about development of religious heritage tourism dew to celebration of Rajim Kumbh in the state. New destinations have been identified based on their historic and religious importance and new circuits have been identified. The policy guide lines have been suggested for development of religious heritage tourism in the state.
