Relationship of Selected Anthropometric Measurement and Physical

The purpose of this study was to find out the relationship between selected anthropometric measurements and physical variables to overhead clear stroke in badminton. For this study total twenty (20) badminton male players who were represented at state level badminton tournament were selected as a subjects. The data were collected on following variables; Anthropometric Measurements: Standing Height, Weight, Leg length, Arm length and Physical Variables: Arm and Shoulder strength, Leg strength, Grip strength. No special motivational technique was used. However, the subject was told to put up their best performance on selected variables. Non availability of sufficient component was considered as a limitation for the study. This study will be helpful to develop the model for the selection of badminton players.
