Rehabilitation and Resettlement of Internally Displaced People

Large numbers of individuals have to flee their homes or places of residence annually, in the context of violence, disaster, conflict, development projects, environmental and climate change, and also stay away in their own countries of residence. Countless cases of prolonged displacement are confronting unremitting displacement danger. Internal displacement is an improbable a catastrophe at this moment for the people of Assam. Their terrible state from the relief camps and standard negligence indicates that there is urgent need to think about the dilemma of internal displacement. In this study, an endeavourer was made to examine the rehabilitation, resettlement procedure displaced people in Assam. The chronic flood difficulty is also resulting frequent displacement for the people of Assam. From the current trends of violence in Assam, it can be quite clearly understood the victims are largely the poor masses that live in the rural regions. It can be conclude that peace arrangements alone aren't enough to activate and achieve durable solutions for internally displaced persons.
