RECOGNITION OF THE WORK OF CUBAN MATHEMATICS TEACHERS

In the present work, as a result of the fact that I was given the task of teaching the subject History of Mathematics to the fifth year students of the Bachelor's Degree in Education in the specialty of Physical Mathematics at the Faculty of Education Sciences at the University of Artemisa, it was decided in consensus with the students not only to approach the History of Mathematics in other times and regions, In close connection with the course and as a Final Project of the subject, it was decided that each student would investigate the history of famous Cuban Mathematics teachers, who with their daily and self-sacrificing work have been an example for many generations of Cubans and have managed to awaken and encourage the love for this science in their students.
