RECOGNITION AND ALTERNACY: Honorary Hedge for World Peace

The great contemporary problems are characterized by their internationality to the point that the exclusivism of States would not be sufficient to solve them. These problems, which are truly global, include global warming, terrorism, racism, immigration, wars and violence (in all its forms), social exclusion, criminality, injustice... All of these require States to mobilize unwavering energies and considerable sums of money, sometimes without immediate or lasting solutions.To overcome this impasse, this book proposes the path of efficiency and effectiveness for a sustainable solution by going back to the common root of all these chronic pathologies which is the "denial of recognition". Recognition and otherness constitute the hedge of honor, where swords will be transformed into sabers, for the reconstruction of a world pacified and reconciled with itself; a world where the relationship with oneself, with the other and with nature is expressed in perfect harmony.
