Ground Water level monitoring and predictions on that basis for the management of water resources are the main challenge for poor countries. Low cost solution for above problem can help our local bodies to plan their water resources effectively. Electronically DSP based system may be effective tool for monitoring and predictions of ground water level. Groundwater monitoring is an essential element in any environmental information system. It is based upon validated groundwater monitoring data and information is derived on which decisions can be made. Constant monitoring provides the necessary data input for smart environment and is the basis of the decision making process concerning spatial planning and climate change adaptation. As in all cases the rule applies; one measurement is no measurement.
