Quality management and the strategic plan

The general objective of this work is to understand the characteristics of quality management and the use of strategic planning in the improvement of the production of rice micro-pilling companies. For the collection of information, the participation of one hundred micro entrepreneurs of the sector was chosen, obtaining the following results according to the variables of the research, with respect to the importance of the quality of their products for their business unit, 60% of the respondents consider this aspect of vital importance and 40% the opposite, with respect to the strategic use of the strategic plans in their business unit, 93% use it and 7% do notuses it; with respect to the training received in rice production 67% have received it and 33% have not; 7% have received commercial training and 93% have not. In order to design strategic plans, it is essential that the rice millers specify with precision and care the mission that will govern them, since this represents the operational functions that they will execute in the market.
