Quality Control of Welding

The textbook contains brief theoretical information about modern methods of quality control of the metal structures. Non-destructive testing methods are considered: visual-optical, radiation, ultrasonic, magnetic, acoustic emission method, thermal method, methods of leakage. The section of destructive control methods includes such methods as the study of mechanical properties, measurement of hardness, metallography, fractography, microhardness. Developed tasks for students to work independently.It is intended for students of technical universities studying in the field of "Welding", and may also be useful for undergraduates, graduates, graduate students, engineering and technical workers of mechanical engineering and other industries.
