Quadripartite Governance

Quadripartite Governance provides a succinct understanding of historical and philosophical conception of State Power. It provides a thorough grasp of the Montesquieuan model of separation of powers used in curbing government exigencies over individual liberties. It proposes a pragmatic departure from the Montesquieuan model to adoption of quadripartite governance. The Fourth arm so created should exercise the powers of checks and balances which we call negative power over the classical three branches. Undoubtedly this publication revives the hitherto debates that underpinned the philosophical conceptualization of the emergence of the institution of governance in uncivilized society.
