Public Relations Practice Within International Organizations

This study used the theoretical framework of public relations (PR) roles research to examine the public relations practice within International Organizations, with a special focus on the United Nations Mission (UN) in Mali. The study brought to the fore the different practices of public relations in the UN mission in Mali. This qualitative study explored the PR practices through in-depth interviews with some PR experts of the targeted mission. The findings from this study provides insight on the public relations functions within the United Nations Missions in Mali, the significance of the practice of PR in this Mission and examined the means through which Public Relations practitioners communicate with their publics.
