Public finances in Colombia

Public finances are part of the economy that deals with how governments raise money, how they spend it, and how effective these activities are within the economy and society. They have the capacity to study how national, state and local governments can provide society with the services they want and how to secure the financial resources to pay for those services. They are composed of the policies that organize public spending and taxation. The economic stability of the nation will depend on this whole relationship. Its objective is to investigate the form and the principles that are applied in the public power to be able to obtain the necessary resources for the good function and the efficient development of the activities that must execute, to be able to generate satisfaction of the public services.
