Psychosocial issues among widows and widowers

This book ¿Psychosocial issues among widows and widowers - Loneliness, depression and social network¿ is a collection of details regarding various Psychological and Social issues with widows and widowers. This research has carried out in various hospitals at Andhra Pradesh, during the period of 2009 and 2010. Book includes five chapters with references; it explains various psycho-social issues in detail and its effects on widows and widowers. It was an experimental design and compared with widows and widowers. Thus it explains that higher levels of loneliness are associated with elevated levels of depressive symptoms.Widowers were found to be reporting higher loneliness than widows though later group reported higher depression than the former.
