Psychological First Aid Protocol

This proposal aims to design a psychological first aid protocol for adults aged between 18 and 60 years with anxiety states in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, so that psychological professionals have tools for the timely attention of such problems. For the development of this proposal, Slaikeu's model of psychological first aid and Barroso's model of crisis intervention are proposed, which allows the proposed protocol to be carried out in compliance with the needs of the population. Likewise, it is proposed for the development of this proposal the use of the qualitative approach with a descriptive type design, raised by Hernandez, Fernandez and Baptista which allows that the importance of this type of protocols in the established problem situation is recognized in addition to identifying the strategies that are adequate to intervene the anxiety crises in the established population.
