On November 11, 1620, the Mayflower landed at the tip of Cape

Cod, allowing the Pilgrims their first glimpse of America and

their first contact with what was to become their new home. In

the nearly four hundred years since their arrival, Provincetown, a

charming and historic seaport town, has been an important port for

fishing and whaling vessels, a favorite destination for vacationers, and

Established in 1727, Provincetown first found prosperity in the
