Protective structures against rock instabilities

Located in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, the Hautes-Alpes department is confronted with various natural phenomena (floods, avalanches...). The most frequent hazard is that of falling rocks, which mainly affects the department's roads. In order to secure the communication routes of the Hautes-Alpes, the Conseil Général has set up different tools such as inventory, diagnosis and event sheets. With the help of these documents, the Conseil Général des Hautes-Alpes will be able to determine which sectors will need to be protected urgently, which protection works will need to be restored... Moreover, it is interesting to understand how the infrastructures that protect the departmental roads are integrated into administrative documents such as the Risk Prevention Plans.
