Properties of concrete with porcelain tile waste

Nowadays, environmental issues are becoming more and more important, as the construction sector is one of the biggest generators of solid waste. Porcelain tiles are one of the fastest-growing building materials due to their properties, such as good resistance and great aesthetic variety. This has led to an increase in the production of waste from this material. Therefore, we analyzed how the water/cement factor can influence the consistency and compressive strength of concrete with porcelain tile waste. In addition, it was analyzed how changing the water/cement factor can affect the properties of concrete with porcelain tile waste, also investigating the economic viability of using this waste in concrete.
