PROJECT STRATEGY and LEADERSHIP: Effect of External Factors

Within the context of linking sustainable development projects and external environmental factors, there cannot be a sustainable development project in a community without a positive role played by the host community of such sustainable project(s). From a philosophical stance corresponding to a positivism paradigm and utilized deductive reasoning, it is found that early involvement of the host community in a project, will significantly affect (positively) the overall delivery of such sustainable development projects. It was also gathered that sustainability is achieved through sustainable development strategies that are well implemented by considering the needs of the people from the people perspective.
