Progress in Artificial Intelligence

This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 18th EPIA Conference on Artificial Intelligence, EPIA 2017, held in Porto, Portugal, in September 2017. 
The 69 revised full papers and 2 short papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from a total of 177 submissions.
