Production and Operations Management

My effort has been to present the key principles and techniques of production and operations management. The book explains the rationale behind these principles and means to improve in practice.Numerous examples have been included to illustrate the principles and techniques. Apart from analytical methods, the book discusses strategic, qualitative and organizational considerations which impinge on network analysis and under which conditions they are employed. Appropriate attention is paid to topics that have been stressed by the National Universities Commission (NUC) curriculum. Many students will find such features as review questions helpful in evaluating what they have learnt. The chapters covered contains topics that have been given detailed attention to meet the current needs of the intended audience. The book is primarily designed for two categories of readers, students and practitioners. Undergraduate Students of Business Administration and other related courses will find the subject matter sufficiently structured to provide a route through the subject. Post-graduate Students will find the practical discussion and theoretical background useful.
