PROCUREMENT PERFORMANCE AND OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY

The study investigated "How Procurement performance influences operational efficiency of the Ministry of Water and Environment, Kampala Capital City, Uganda." Guided by three specific objectives; to find out the level of procurement performance of Ministry of Water and Environment, Kampala Capital City Uganda, to explain the level of operational efficiency of the Ministry of Water and Environment, Kampala Capital City, Uganda, and to establish the relationship between Procurement performance and operational efficiency of the Ministry of Water and environment, Kampala Capital City, Uganda. It was hypothesized that "there is no significant relationship between Procurement performance and operational efficiency of the Ministry of Water and Environment, Kampala Capital City, Uganda." Data was gathered using systematic random sampling technique from 66 trace the dealers are under the Ministry of Water & Environment respondents using a self-administered questionnaire. Objective one finding indicated a low grand mean of 2.04 which implied that there was low level of performance of the Ministry of Procurement of Water and environment, Uganda, Kampala Capital City.
