Problems of outsourcing logistics practice in Nigeria

This book will establish the key factors that encourage organizations in Nigeria to outsource and the problems the companies are encountering in comparison with the situation in China/Western world. Increasing customers changing taste, market changes and constant yearnings for faster delivery are all putting increased pressure on Global logistics strategies that organizations are adopting as to meet their missions- (Bardi, 1991). Effects of the increased global logistics, brought changes into the structure of the logistics industry globally, introducing the Supply Chain Management Strategy (SCM) which has in it, what is commonly referred to as the Outsourcing practices. The objective of this book is to establish the factors effecting and affecting outsourcing in, outsourcing in Nigeria in comparison with those of developed countries, and make possible suggestions to curbing the challenges the organization face.
