Probing Daruwalla's Sense and Sensibility

The present book deals with Sahitya Akademi Award Winner, Keki N. Daruwalla's social sensibilities expressed in his poetry. The book has a major division of four parts and discusses the contribution of Keki N. Daruwalla in Indian English Poetry and conspicuous characteristics of his selected poems. The author tries to highlight the unexplored facets of Daruwalla's poetry. Further, Daruwalla's craftsmanship, subtle use of satire and irony, other rhetorical devices, coinages, the skills of condensing and compressing, free verse and rhythm are discussed respectively in this book. Furthermore, the author illustrates in what way a sense of immediacy and sense of involvement can also be discerned in Daruwalla's poetry.
