Historically, pedagogic supervision is said to improve the quality of teaching and learning in schools and in order to effectively complement the curriculum, there has to be supervision at all levels. Principals' pedagogic supervision is a part of supervision that can not be overlooked. The role of every school principal is to provide strategic direction in the school system and in order to ensure that strategies to improve teaching and learning are implemented, there is a need for supervision.
