PREDIABETES: THE EMERGING GLOBAL PANDEMIC

The book has been written in accordance with pure inspiration from one of my mentors, Dr. Mahesh Abhyankar. He is one of the leading medical doctors from South India. He is based in Mumbai, and working with a big International Pharmaceutical MNC, company. The book is written after realizing the fact, that in the middle stage between the normal healthy body and diseased diabetic condition, there exists an intermediate stage, called Prediabetes. It means, that the blood sugar levels at above the normal range in a normal healthy body, but below the range of blood sugar levels, to be declared as Diabetes. As we all know, that Diabetes is of two types, namely, Type 1 and Type 2. It is a dangerous disease if a proper understanding of its effects and consequences is seen on the human body. Looking at the growing number of cases of diabetes, there is also a growing number of cases of Prediabetes, which is generally not looked at looking at its asymptomatic condition. The book will make you realize the coming to another global pandemic threat the world will be affected by other than, the current COVID-19 crisis running havoc with the lives.
