Practical notions on corrosion

This document is intended to offer undergraduate and master's degree students in mechanical engineering an overview on the different aspects of corrosion, providing basic information on corrosion and on the behavior of the materials used to protect our products from corrosion. corrosion with great simplicity. It brings together knowledge about the phenomenon of corrosion (definition, type, causes, etc.). It also presents basic knowledge on the various techniques of prevention and protection against this phenomenon of degradation which seem useful or even necessary for a reassuring professional integration.
