PRACTICAL MANUAL OF FUNDUS

This manual was elaborated by a team of general practitioners, epidemiologists, internists and fourth year medical students from the University of Carabobo Venezuela where an exhaustive investigation of multiple bibliographies was carried out from the old to the most recent, and of the consequences and main clinical manifestations of systemic arterial hypertension in one of its target organs such as the eye, In addition, the manual includes, as an added value, an excellent study on how the manifestations of ocular damage due to hypertension also have repercussions in the heart, specifically in left ventricular hypertrophy, coinciding these results with many international and national works, with contributions inherent to our reality. This study was carried out in our central hospital in Maracay, Aragua State, together with the ophthalmology and cardiology services.
