Postmodern Conflicts on African Continent

The primary goal of the scientific monograph, grounded on publicly accessible information, data and facts whilst using standard methods of scientific research, is to provide readers, students, lecturers, and anyone interested from the security sector or even outside the security community with a comprehensive view of the causes, backgrounds, developments, actors, factors, common features and other aspects of specific conflicts on African continent ¿ not only the most prominent ones appearing in the glaring media spotlight, such as the conflicts in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, Burundi, Angola, Algeria, Sudan, Sierra Leone, Ethiopia and Eritrea, Somalia or Liberia, but also the less known conflicts with little media coverage, such as the conflicts in Madagascar, the Comoros Islands, the Republic of South Africa, Mozambique, Niger or Lesotho, which have either markedly influenced or are still markedly influencing regional, continental and international security.
