Pollutant Curtailment Through Sustainable Consumption of Green Product

In Ethiopia due to increased prominence of environmental concerns the subsequent efforts of governmental agencies, NGO¿s and local environmentalists are endeavoring to increase awareness of society¿s impact on the environment. But, like many African cities, Addis Ababa, suffers from environmental problem. Some of the crucial reasons could be lack of participation among general public in pro-environmental behaviors, lack of systematic promotion of green consumption and lack of awareness and recognition of green product. Because, of this the sources of pollution have shifted from production to consumption processes. This trend and growth of unbalanced consumption patterns are placing unprecedented pressure on the environment Therefore to narrow the gap of the problem of environmental pollution and individual interaction it need to promote sustainable consumption through adaption of green product. This book, therefore,seek and analyze how consumer took environmental consideration while making choices on buying, consuming and disposing bottled water and to indicate possible improvement alternatives to increase consumer participation in environmental protection through sustainable
