Political Communication in Government

The book is devoted to the analysis of political and communication technologies used in the activities of the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District during the period from 2000 to 2008. Relevance of the topic due to the need to study the Russian experience in the formation of a new system of relations between public authorities and society, seeking for a constructive dialogue with the public, responsive to the socio-political challenges of our time. The book considers the most important political and communication technologies of interaction between the authorities and the public: news management, creation and administration of a site on the Internet, including interactive forms of communication with the audience, participation in the creation of joint media projects with the media, and others.
